Personal Note from our Founder

Several years ago, a small group of leaders came together to create Exit8480.com — a gift box company designed to offer unique products in beautifully curated packaging. More importantly, the business was created to provide meaningful job training opportunities for students enrolled in our Transition Program, Project Next. These students needed a safe and supportive environment where they could develop valuable workplace and life skills through hands-on experience in many aspects of the business.

Over the years, I had the privilege of watching these incredible students grow, gain confidence, and thrive as they learned new skills. The experience was both deeply moving and truly inspiring for me personally.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the decision to close the business effective June 1, 2026. Balancing the operation of a business alongside the responsibilities of running a school ultimately became more than our team could sustain. It is never easy to say goodbye to something built with so much dedication, passion, and purpose — especially when it served such extraordinary students.

We are incredibly grateful to all of our customers who believed in this project and supported us throughout the years by purchasing gift boxes, sharing feedback, and encouraging us as we learned and grew.

While we say goodbye for now, you never know what may be next…
